Very little of Buderim is flat. Most of the pools we build here need engineered retaining, a benched excavation, or a partially raised shell with the far wall standing well proud of the ground. We work that out at the design stage, not halfway through the dig.
Buderim's red basalt soil holds together far better than coastal sand, which means cleaner batters and less shoring. It also goes greasy the moment it rains, so we plan our machine access around the forecast rather than the calendar.
Narrow driveways, mature gardens and steep side setbacks are the norm up here. We've craned shells over houses on Ballinger Road and barrowed concrete a very long way. We'll tell you honestly at quote stage which one your block needs.
